Veterinary Pet Surgery in New Braunfels, TX
At Chisholm Trail Veterinary Clinic of New Braunfels, our skilled veterinarians conduct routine and emergency surgeries using high-tech equipment. Beyond our full-service surgical capabilities, our veterinarians are supported by a compassionate team. Together, we’re determined to help your pet’s surgery and recovery go as smoothly as possible.
SURGICAL PROCEDURES AT OUR PRACTICE
Our veterinary clinic is capable and prepared to conduct a wide variety of surgeries—from routine spay and neuter to fracture repairs—and we always have your pet’s best care in mind. When a pet undergoes surgery at our clinic, we use blankets to keep them warm and closely monitor their recovery following the surgery.
As part of our veterinary practice’s stringent standards, we implement a strict protocol with anesthesia, encouraging bloodwork to be conducted beforehand to ensure low risks. Throughout the animal’s procedure, your pet’s heart rate, blood pressure, temperature, oxygen levels, carbon dioxide levels, and EKG will be monitored by our caring team using high-quality veterinary equipment.
Does your pet need surgery?

Chisholm Trail was very accommodating to our needs. Our dog had an accident with another dog and need stitches. They were able to get us an appointment the same day and perform minor surgery the same afternoon. They gave us a cost estimate with a low and high end. The end cost was the in the middle of the two. Our dog came home in good spirits and seemed well taken care of. What more can you ask for?

I’m so thankful that I found Chisholm through yelp. They greeted us as soon as we walked in and we went straight into a room. The tech loved on my kitty. I was really impressed with the services our kitty received today. The tech and Dr. Dawson were awesome. I feel confident in my decision to take our kitty there. I highly recommend Chisholm to anyone looking for a vet.

We had our little Aine spayed here and they gave her the BEST care!! We have visited several vets in the area recently with our animals and feel that this one highly surpasses the others in the professionalism, the knowledge, the care, the follow-up, and just the overall experience! This place comes vet-recommended by another vet in the area (that doesn’t do surgery) and we are forever thankful that this is where we went!! Thank you Chisholm Trail for taking such amazing care of our little fur baby!!
